This June I will be participating in the Ride to End Alzheimers in Rye, NH. I will be riding for my Dad, and will be pedaling 100 miles for him. He was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimers at the age of 58. Now at the age of 68, he has been living with the disease for 10 years. My Dad is my hero. He is my benchmark for measuring how to be a good person, and I miss our conversations every day. Although he no longer can communicate with me, he still lights up when he sees loved ones, and he still makes me smile. I want to end this awful disease. I know those of you that know him, will want to help me do the same thing.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research- only dollars. By participating in the 2019 Ride to End Alzheimer's, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
And you can help me. These dollars are desperately needed- for the more than 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer's, their 16 million caregivers, and millions more who have lost a loved one to this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and their ground breaking momentum in the field of Alzheimer's research. 90% of the funds raised go toward the Association's efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Help me cycle towards a world with our first survivor and donate today!
