Annie Run's 26.2 to End Alzheimer's

Hi friends and family,

In 2018 I'm taking the challenge of running my first marathon, the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! Not only will I have the honor of running 26.2 miles in my new city of Chicago, BUT I'll have the honor of running 26.2 miles for a GREAT cause.

I've decided to run this marathon as part of the Alzheimer’s Association ALZ Stars®, a program to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Association. Alzheimer's is a disease that hits close to home, as we lost my grandfather Raymond Flynn on my mom's side of the family to Alzheimer's. I'd love a world where no other families are affected by this illness. It's a growing disease, currently affecting more than 5 million Americans and it needs all the funding it can get to help find a cure.

I ask for your support to do my part! I would greatly appreciate any donations to help this cause. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association advance research to discover methods of prevention, treatment and ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.

Thank you in advance for your generosity! And of course if you cannot currently donate, I completely understand and accept all the moral support as I attempt to run 26.2 miles.

I prefer to mail my donation.
