Alzheimer advocates

Alzheimer’s advocates play an important role in improving the quality of care and quality of life for people and families facing Alzheimer’s disease by working to improve dementia care and services, increase access to community-based and residential care programs, and expand funding for research and public programs serving people with dementia.

As an advocate, you will:

  • Receive regular updates about current legislative and public policy issues.
  • Contact lawmakers to encourage their support for public policies that will improve the quality of life for people and families Alzheimer’s disease in Illinois.

Each individual voice is critical, but by advocating together, our voices have the ability to create a world without Alzheimer’s disease.
