Historic annual Alzheimer’s disease research funding increase signed into law
The largest-ever annual increase in federal Alzheimer’s disease research funding has been signed into law by President Obama. This $350 million boost is a direct result of the combined efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association and our passionate advocates, and brings the amount allocated for Alzheimer’s research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to nearly $1 billion per year.
