"Marjorie Prime" touches on the power of memory
|
The film "Marjorie Prime" is about the title character, played by Lois Smith, who uses a service that provides holographic re-creations (or "primes") of deceased loved ones. In Marjorie's case, it's a younger version of her husband, Walter (played by Jon Hamm), who helps her rewrite memories while she's experiencing symptoms of dementia. Smith discusses her experience making the film, which touches on grief, loss and the power of memory.
