African-American volunteers needed for Alzheimer’s clinical trials
African-Americans have an increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. African-American volunteers, both with and without Alzheimer's or another dementia, are needed to participate in clinical trials. Alzheimer’s Association TrialMatch® is a free matching service that connects individuals with Alzheimer's, caregivers, healthy volunteers and physicians with current clinical studies.

As Alzheimer's and other dementias progress, the behaviors of people living with the disease can change — as does the role of caregivers. While changes in behavior can be challenging, we have resources to help you through each stage of the disease.
