Early-stage advisors play critical role in Alzheimer’s awareness
|
Lonni Schicker was diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment in July 2014 at 59 years old (later upgraded to vascular dementia). An alumna of the Alzheimer’s Association National Early-Stage Advisory Group, Schicker has remained active as an advocate for others living with the disease. The advisors work to raise awareness of early-stage Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and advocate for research and support programs.
