How would you feel if your traditional family recipes were lost forever?
Most likely awful! When Barbara Magro heard the diagnosis of her mother’s disease in 2006 and witnessed her mother’s decline, she set out to preserve her family recipes that were at the heart of her upbringing. Recipes to Remember - My Epicurean Journey to Preserve my Mother’s Italian Cooking from Memory Loss is the result. As seen in the Wall Street Journal, Daytime TV and WPLG 10 Miami. To purchase a book for $30, please call us at 757.459.2405. $5 from each book sold through our office will be donated to our chapter. Please make checks payable to Barbara Magro and send to Alzheimer's Association, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
