kula, a Shop.Earn.Donate Ecosystem and fundraising platform that benefits charities, now includes the Alzheimer’s Association. Customers simply shop their favorite brands through kula’s retail channel partners and earn an average of 5 percent on each purchase, which will be donated to the Association when selected as the charity of choice. Choose from online retailers, merchant and dining gift cards, and hotel and rental car partners, and raise funds for the Association until March 2018.

Sisters forge stronger bond as one faces younger-onset Alzheimer’s

Sisters Robin and Jessica McIntyre say they’ve always been close, but that bond grows stronger as they contend with an uncertain future. Robin, 34, carries the genetic mutation for younger-onset Alzheimer’s disease, and Jessica has vowed to take care of her.
