Wilder, power of imagination inspire Alzheimer's awareness
|
In 2016, the world lost one of its great entertainers, Gene Wilder, to Alzheimer's disease. As Willy Wonka in "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," Wilder continues to inspire all of us to believe that anything is possible with the power of imagination — including a world without Alzheimer's. In honor of National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month, the Alzheimer's Association has unveiled the Pure Imagination Project, a campaign encouraging people to learn more about the disease and join the fight against it.
