Mark Your Calendar! April-June 2014 Education is Here We offer a variety of educational programs to the community. These classes are designed for individuals facing Alzheimer's as well as their families. Our classes help participants understand the disease, what to expect, how to promote brain healthy living and proven strategies to assist families in planning and coping.
NEW Class Spotlight: Options For The Family Caregiver: When It's Time For More Help Family caregivers will learn about health and community resources, placement options, support groups and more. We will discuss the emotional issues people face when caring for a loved one with dementia and talk about steps to reduce caregiver stress.

First Aid For Families & Caregivers Presented by an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Participants will learn about basic first aid and safety, including what to do in the event of a medical emergency, how to help when there has been a fall and strategies to keep the home safe.
