B. Smith shares her life story and a call to action against Alzheimer’s disease
Cookbook author, restaurateur and model B. Smith was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2013, but the disease hasn’t driven her into the shadows. Her new book, "Before I Forget: Love, Hope, Help and Acceptance in Our Fight Against Alzheimer’s," written with her husband Dan Gasby, is a memoir but also a call to action against the disease — particularly for African-Americans.
