Alzheimer's Association launches dementia care practice recommendations
|
By age 80, 75 percent of people with Alzheimer's are admitted to a nursing home. The Alzheimer's Association has published new recommendations meant to shape dementia care practice at nursing homes, assisted living facilities and other long-term care and community care providers.

Coach Turgeon advances to second round of the Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge
|
With your help, University of Maryland Coach Mark Turgeon advanced to the second round of the Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge. The challenge features the nation's top men's basketball coaches counting on fans to vote for their favorite charities, with the winning coach's charity receiving $100,000. Coach Turgeon's charity is the Alzheimer's Association, so vote daily to help him advance to the next round.
