Professional Interest Area (PIA) Overview

Professional Interest Area (PIA) is an assembly of members with common subspecialties or interests. The PIA’s provide a forum for networking, sponsor symposia and lectures; offer mentoring and career guidance for junior scientists and help researchers share the latest techniques and information.

Becoming an ISTAART PIA

The objectives and programs of a Professional Interest Area (PIA) of the International Society to Advance Alzheimer Research and Treatment (ISTAART) shall enhance the scientific, educational and/or practice goals of the Alzheimer's Association.

Professional Interest Areas are composed of at least 25 individuals and is open to ISTAART members only.
