Ara S. Khachaturian, Ph.D. is the Executive Vice-President of Prevent Alzheimer’s 2020, Inc., the Managing Associate of Khachaturian and Associates, Inc., the Executive Editor of Alzheimer's & Dementia: Journal of the Alzheimer's Association, and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Supercomputing Center, Las Vegas, NV. He has nearly twenty years of experience in the area of epidemiological and clinical research, including specialized experience in population research.

Currently, Dr. Khachaturian is the Executive Vice President of the Campaign to Prevent Alzheimer's by 2020, Inc., (PAD2020) a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity. The organization is leading efforts to combat Alzheimer's disease and other disorders affecting memory, movement and mood. PAD2020 seeks accelerated progress in the discovery of cures for Alzheimer's and related neurodegenerative disease. The effort will pursue radical changes in current conceptual models of the disease and the traditional approaches for discovering and developing therapies for prevention.
