Model, restaurateur and TV host B. Smith was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s four years ago. By speaking out publicly, Smith hopes to encourage more people — especially minorities — to volunteer for clinical trials looking for a cure for the disease.

Dillard’s holds Tea with Tahari ASL to help end Alzheimer’s disease
Dillard's department stores have teamed up with the Tahari ASL clothing line to launch Tea with Tahari ASL dress week benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. From March 15-21, $15 from every Tahari ASL dress purchased at Dillard’s (in store only) will be donated to the Association. Customers will also receive a Tea with Tahari ASL branded tea cup and information about Alzheimer's disease with each purchase, while supplies last.
