New resource for families & friends of Veterans with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia

The Alzheimer's Association San Diego / Imperial Chapter is proud to offer a Caregiver Support Group for friends and family members caring for a Veteran with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia. In addition to receiving support from others, this group will provide caregiving tips and resources, and guide discussions around the unique challenges and common struggles faced by military families.

This group is facilitated by Kym Grey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Kym earned a Minor in Gerontology and a Masters in Social Work at California State University, Sacramento. She has worked with a variety of groups, individuals, couples and families since then. We are grateful for Kym's compassionate and well-informed support as she now fills this role as Caregiver Support Group Facilitator in addition to her history of volunteering as an Ambassador with the Alzheimer’s Association for many years.

For more information please contact facilitator Kym Grey: 760-908-7165 or Nicole Reich: 858.966.3293
