Workplace Giving Campaigns
The Chapter is a proud member of Community Health Charities of Virginia. Show your support during your workplace giving campaign by choosing the Southeastern Virginia Chapter's agency code #6002 or code #13194 depending on the campaign. Or if you prefer to designate your gift to our national organization, look for the Alzheimer’s Association (code #11234) without the local chapter designation in the Combined Federal Campaign. By double-checking the name you are ensuring that your gift is being directed to exactly where you want it to go.
You can also support our chapter through your local United Way campaign! Many local United Ways support Donor Choice (write-in option) in their general workplace campaigns. All you have to do is simply write in: Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter. If you have any questions about Donor Choice, please call the chapter (800.272.3900) or your nearest United Way.
WIN A CAR!
Now's your chance to win a car and raise money for the Alzheimer's Association!
Thanks to a very generous donation by a local longtime supporter we have been able to secure a car to raffle off to aid in our fundraising for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. 20,000 tickets have been printed. At $5/ticket, we have the potential to bring in $100,000 to support our mission. Selling car raffle tickets is a fun and easy way to meet your fundraising goals. You only have to sell 20 tickets to reach $100 to be eligible for a Walk t-shirt! All registered Walk participants may sell tickets. Tickets come bundled in packs of 25. To get tickets to sell, please contact your Walk Chair. If you would like to purchase a ticket, plan to stop by our office (please call first to make sure we are here - 800.272.3900)!

How would you feel if your traditional family recipes were lost forever?
Most likely awful! When Barbara Magro heard the diagnosis of her mother’s disease in 2006 and witnessed her mother’s decline, she set out to preserve her family recipes that were at the heart of her upbringing. Recipes to Remember - My Epicurean Journey to Preserve my Mother’s Italian Cooking from Memory Loss is the result. As seen in the Wall Street Journal, Daytime TV and WPLG 10 Miami. To purchase a book for $30, please call us at 757.459.2405. $5 from each book sold through our office will be donated to our chapter. Please make checks payable to Barbara Magro and send to Alzheimer's Association, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
