A big thank you to all our volunteers for attending our annual Day on the Hill! We discussed the Alzheimer's Association's 2018 Public Health Priorities with representatives of West Tennessee, such as Representative Jimmy Eldridge from District 73, pictured above. Volunteer Opportunities 

Diversity Outreach: Looking for volunteers interested in reaching out to local churches with brochures, information on starting a support group and offering presentations.

Hispanic Outreach: Looking for bilingual volunteers interested in establishing relationships with local Hispanic organizations/groups/associations/churches and providing presentations in Spanish and educational materials as needed.

LGBTQ Outreach: Looking for volunteers interested in establishing relationships  with local LGBTQ organizations/groups and offering presentations and educational materials as needed.
 
Support Group Facilitators: Looking for volunteers interested in being trained to facilitate a local support group in your area in the following counties (Obion, Henry, Crockett, Lauderdale, Decatur, Chester, and Benton)  

ACT Team Members: Looking for volunteer advocates to assist Alzheimer's Ambassadors with social media, local district visits, letters to the editor, etc. Members of Congress include Steve Cohen, Representative of the 9th District and David Kustoff Representative of the 8th District.
