THANKS TO OUR WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S SPONSORS
2017 Presenting Sponsor is Woodlands Senior Living
Our
walks are successful in part because of the generous support from our sponsors.
We’d like to extend a tremendous thanks to our 2017 Presenting Sponsor,
Woodlands Senior Living for their continued support this year.
We couldn’t
achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s without the help of our 2017
Gold Sponsors -- Avita Memory Care, Spectrum Healthcare Partners, and the Tyler
Foundation. Many event sponsors will have representation at our walks, so visit their tables and thank them. For a complete list of our 2017 Maine Walk to End Alzheimer's event sponsors click on the link below.

TOGETHER, WE CAN END ALZHEIMER'S
Raise Awareness and Funds for Alzheimer's Care, Support and Research
When you participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, your fundraising dollars fuel our mission, and your participation in the
event helps to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community. While
there is no fee to register, we encourage participants to fundraise in order to
contribute to the cause and raise awareness.
If you haven't already, take the first step by finding a walk near you and register as a
team captain, team member, or individual. Once you register, you will have
access to a wide range of tools and support. Join us and lead the way to
Alzheimer's first survivor. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.

LEARN ABOUT TRIALMATCH AT WALK EVENTS
Don't Just Hope for a Cure. Help Us Find One
TrialMatch® is a free clinical studies
matching service that connects individuals with Alzheimer’s, caregivers, and
healthy volunteers to current studies. Recruiting
and retaining participants for clinical studies is crucial to achieving our
vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.
This fall, volunteers
at the seven statewide Walk to End Alzheimer’s events will have information
cards that you can fill out and enroll in the service. We need as many people as possible, including healthy volunteers, to participate in TrialMatch®. This is a
simple and easy way to help us find a cure. Visit our research tables at a Walk
to End Alzheimer’s event this fall and click on the link below to learn more.

TAKE ACTION AGAINST ALZHEIMER'S
Learn About the Alzheimer's Impact Movement (AIM)
We recently secured a $400 million
increase in federal funding for Alzheimer’s research at the National Institutes
of Health (NIH). That means that funding for important research has nearly
tripled over the past five years.
These victories wouldn’t have been possible
without the Alzheimer’s Impact Movement (AIM), the Alzheimer’s Association’s
strategic partner in driving Congress to confront the Alzheimer’s crisis. AIM
keeps our relationships growing when members of Congress are working to build
support and campaigning. With your help, we’ll continue to accelerate the
fight to end this devastating disease.
