Walk - Participant Center

If you haven't reached your fundraising goal don't be discouraged because it's not too late! We will be accepting donations until December 31, 2016! Need some help? Here are a few suggestions: 

  • Follow up with those folks who said they would write you a check, but haven't gotten to it yet.
  • Ask your gym buddies, folks at your place of worship, that nice lady on the corner you say "hi" to every morning. Now is the time to leave no stone unturned.
  • Send another email to your contacts.

Day of Details...

1. Where/When:  
CBS Studios
4024 Radford Avenue, Studio City, CA 91604

Onsite registration opens at 8:30am. Opening ceremonies at 9:30 am. Walk starts at 10:00 am.

2. Parking 
Complimentary parking is provided at CBS Studios in the Sater Parking Structure. Enter from Radford Avenue, the structure is past the Main Gate heading east or just past the LA River Bridge if heading west. Enter CBS Studios from the Sater Parking Structure, please do not attempt to enter through the Main Gate. 

3. Registration/ Check-In
Everyone over age 16 MUST check in individually at the registration area. 

If you already registered, you will get your wristband and drop off any donations you may have.  (Online registration closes at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 17th

If you are registering on Sunday, you will complete a registration form and get a wristband.  

4. T-Shirts
Registered walkers who raise $100 or more will be eligible for a Walk to End Alzheimer's commemorative T-shirt. Tickets for T-shirts will be given at registration/check-in. 

Team Captains, make sure your team members have enough in their individual accounts to qualify.

5. Refreshments
Wristbands (from registration/check-in) are required for all refreshments other snacks.

5. Champions ($1000 raised)
Participants who have raised $1000 and over will receive a Champion T-shirt, Champion Medal and Champion breakfast. Champions will receive a wristband at registration/check-in, please visit the T-shirt booth for your t-shirt and visit the Champions Breakfast area for your refreshments. Wristband is required for Champions Breakfast access. 

6. Walk Route
The route is a three mile non-competitive walk with an alternate for those who prefer a shorter walk. Routes will be marked by signage. To see the route map, click here.

7. Teams
There is NO formal team meeting area.  You should decide where you will meet prior to Sunday and bring a team sign to help your team find you.

Psssst...Team Captains
Be sure to stop by the T-Shirt Table even if you have picked up your shirt prior to the walk to receive your Team Captain gift! 

Complimentary team photos will be available. Look for the "Team Photo" table and our volunteer photographer to assist you.

8. Things To Bring
Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and other ways to shade yourself!  It may be hot.  EZ Up's are NOT allowed. Chairs will be provided in front of the stage for those who need them. 

9. Four-Footed Canine Friends 
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the CBS Studios lot. 

10. Be Good Neighbors
CBS Studios has been a gracious host - please help keep the CBS lot clean by disposing of trash in the available trash bins.

11.  Keep fundraising! 
Your Walk page will remain active until December 31st, and incentives will continue to be sent out! Keep raising money to help find a cure and get cool prizes like these!
