Facts and Figures reveals barriers to dementia diagnosis
The new Alzheimer’s Association 2023 Alzheimer's Disease Facts and Figures report provides an in-depth look at the latest national and state-by-state statistics on Alzheimer’s disease prevalence, mortality, caregiving and costs of care. The accompanying special report, The Patient Journey in an Era of New Treatments, offers insights on how individuals with memory concerns and their doctors are not discussing the issue, missing a critical first step toward diagnosis and potential treatment.

Walmart customers can help fight Alzheimer's
Walmart has launched Walmart Spark Good Round Up, where customers can round up their purchases to the nearest dollar and donate the change to their favorite charity, and will match all donations two to one. Through March 31, select the Alzheimer's Association as your charity to receive these donations every time you shop on Walmart.com or the Walmart app.

It can be difficult to talk to a doctor about memory changes in yourself or someone you know. On March 24, join us for ALZ Talks, our monthly online series featuring conversation about Alzheimer’s and other dementias, to hear from a person living with Alzheimer’s who will share her diagnosis experience and suggest questions you can ask your doctor to make the process easier.
