Worldwide, more than 55 million people are living with Alzheimer's or another dementia. During June, Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, join the Alzheimer's Association in raising awareness. Go purple and share your story — the more people that know about Alzheimer's, the more action we inspire.

Tzu Chi volunteer educates her community about Alzheimer's
Joanne Hsu, a volunteer with the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, known as Tzu Chi USA, helps increase awareness of Alzheimer’s and all other dementia in Chinese-speaking communities by delivering Alzheimer’s Association information and resources. “Alzheimer’s can be heartbreaking for everyone involved if you don’t know where to turn or what to do,” Hsu says on our blog. “I set out to change that in any small way I can.”
