Use your voice to advocate for Medicare coverage
Yesterday, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued a draft decision effectively proposing to deny Medicare access to FDA-approved medications for Alzheimer’s disease. This is unprecedented discrimination against those living with Alzheimer’s. Medicare has always covered FDA-approved treatments for those living with other conditions like cancer, heart disease and HIV/AIDS. President Biden needs to hear from you; take action today.

Exercise may protect the brain even with signs of dementia
A new study published in Alzheimer’s & Dementia®: The Journal of the Alzheimer’s Association shows that exercise increases levels of a protein known to strengthen communication between brain cells. The protective effect was even found in active older people whose brains showed signs of a number of hallmarks of Alzheimer's and other cognitive diseases. Experts say the study, which is partially funded by the Association, reinforces the importance of regular physical activity at any age.
