Baseball players honor their mother with charity effort
Professional baseball players and brothers Braden and Hunter Bishop lost their mom, Suzy, in 2019 after a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s five years earlier. On our blog, the brothers, currently part of the San Francisco Giants organization, share how Suzy’s love inspired them to create their 4MOM charity in her honor.

Too much or too little sleep may impact the brain
Sleeping too much or too little could negatively impact the brain, new research suggests. Study results indicate that people who sleep six hours or less every night had elevated levels of beta-amyloid, a protein that accumulates to form plaques in the brain — a hallmark of Alzheimer’s. The study also found that adults who sleep longer than nine hours showed increased signs of cognitive decline.
