Sleep issues, sundowning are common in people living with Alzheimer's
|
People living with Alzheimer's may have issues sleeping or increases in behavioral problems that begin at dusk and last into the night (known as sundowning). As many as 20% of people living with Alzheimer's will experience increased confusion, anxiety and agitation beginning late in the day.

Adult day centers can benefit people living with Alzheimer's and caregivers
|
Adult day centers offer people living with Alzheimer's or another dementia the opportunity to be social and participate in activities in a safe environment. Caregivers can also benefit from a much-needed break.
