Wandering raises safety concerns for someone living with Alzheimer's

Anyone who has memory problems and is able to walk is at risk for wandering. Six in 10 people living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia will wander, but we have strategies and resources to help prevent it.

It may be difficult to tell symptoms of Alzheimer's and depression apart
|
Depression is common among people living with Alzheimer's, especially during the early and middle stages. Identifying depression in someone living with the disease can be difficult since the conditions share similar symptoms.
