Acheson believes food can bond families facing Alzheimer's
Chef Hugh Acheson owns several restaurants and appears on culinary shows such as "Top Chef." Acheson, whose father is living with Alzheimer's, participates in Around the Table, an Alzheimer's Association initiative featuring shared experiences with food to raise awareness of the disease and its impact on individuals, families and communities.

Researcher provides Alzheimer's education in Hispanic/Latino community
Trained in neuropsychological assessment of the Spanish-speaking population, Dr. Luis Medina, Ph.D., is a 2019 grant recipient of the Alzheimer's Association Research Fellowship to Promote Diversity. Dr. Medina was touched by Alzheimer's on a personal level when his grandmother developed the disease.
