Three days can make a big impact in the fight against Alzheimer's
We've made significant progress in the fight against Alzheimer's, including historic research funding increases and the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer's Act being signed into law. Help us continue the momentum by attending the 2019 Alzheimer's Impact Movement Advocacy Forum March 31-April 2 in our nation's capital. An inspiring event packed with education and networking, the Forum prepares advocates to deliver their powerful stories to elected officials.

Alzheimer's may develop differently in African Americans
New research suggests that while we're learning more about the possible causes of racial differences in risk for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, many questions remain. Researchers found that common markers of disease risk — including levels of amyloid and tau, and genetics — are different between whites and African Americans in the study. The results emphasize the need for more diverse participants in research.
