Early detection of Alzheimer's disease is important
If you or someone you know is experiencing any of the 10 signs of Alzheimer's disease, make an appointment to see your doctor as soon as possible. With early detection, you can explore treatments that may provide some relief of symptoms and help you maintain a level of independence longer, as well as increase your chances of participating in clinical trials that help advance research.

Photographer hopes images help people living with dementia
Experts say activities such as discussing photographs can be beneficial to people living with Alzheimer's or another dementia and their family members. A photographer is aiming to improve the quality of life of elderly people living with dementia by staging "photo interventions," individual or group sessions focusing on conversations about images he has curated.
