To close out a strong Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, Alzheimer’s Association National Early-Stage Advisory Group member Brian LeBlanc and Association advocate Nancy Johnson, both living with the disease, shared their stories on "The Today Show." The segment also featured information on 10 Ways to Love Your Brain — tips to reduce risk of cognitive decline — and the 10 Warning Signs.

Omar Sharif’s grandson talks about brilliant mind lost to Alzheimer’s
Earlier this year, it was announced that Academy Award-nominated actor Omar Sharif — also a world champion bridge player proficient in seven languages — has Alzheimer’s. His grandson, Omar Sharif Jr., writes about his grandfather’s experience with the disease and how we need to unite to end it.

Former golfer Oosterhuis diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer’s
Former golfer Peter Oosterhuis, 67, has announced he has younger-onset Alzheimer’s. Oosterhuis, a six-time Ryder Cup player from England and longtime CBS Sports golf announcer, said he hopes that going public with his diagnosis can help raise awareness and funds to fight the disease.
