Take a day for yourself before the hustle of the holidays!
Please join us for a day of education, resources and support especially for caregivers for someone with Alzheimer’s or related dementia. Our program for the day includes:
- Basics of dementia and Q&A with a local physician.
- Take-home tips for better communication & managing behaviors.
- How to discuss challenging topics like when to stop driving.
- Ways to manage caregiver stress and take care of you, too!
- Complimentary lunch and door prizes!
If you are a family caregiver for someone with dementia, complimentary sitter service is available through the Alzheimer's Association to enable you to attend. Please call 2 weeks in advance to inquire: 800-272-3900.
