Lotta Granholm-Bentley, Ph.D. Aging and Neurological Disorders: Causes and Prevention
Dr. Granholm-Bentley is the founding director of the Carroll A. Campbell Jr. Neuropathology Laboratory Brain Bank at MUSC. She recently received a grant award from the Alzheimer’s Association to study Alzheimer’s disease in individuals with Down Syndrome.
Marianne Frederick, RPT, MHSA The ABC’s of Caregiver Stress: Attitude, Behaviors, and Connections
Marianne Frederick is a colorful personality who “wears many hats”. One of the hats she wears is as a physical therapist at the Cottages at Brushy Creek in Greer, SC. She enjoys helping others “laugh and learn” unique ways to decrease the stress of caregiving.
To help family members attend – a no-cost, in-home sitter for a loved one with dementia can be arranged through the Alzheimer’s Association. To learn more about this service, please call the
