This session is specifically designed to foster collaborative opportunities. A number of international speakers from academia and industry will provide an update on the research activities within the area of blood-based biomarkers among their laboratories and collaborations. Each speaker will also provide an overview of collaborative opportunities along with appropriate contact information to foster these collaborations. A question and answer period will allow the audience sufficient time to engage in dialogue regarding possible collaborations. Additional time will be utilized to discuss how the PIA can explicitly facilitate the collaborative projects and/or foster new opportunities. Lastly, an overview of the PIA’s activities will be provided, which includes a status update on the guidelines generated by the PIA.
