- Burnout/Compassion Fatigue (Target audience - Professionals)
- This presentation explores compassion fatigue - the feeling of having nothing left to give in the workplace. Stress, burnout and their symptoms are discussed, as well as the potentially negative effects of lack of compassion, ranging from low morale to potential abuse. Coping and burnout prevention mechanisms are explored, as well, to assist staff members to retain their compassion, and continued motivation to give their best in the workplace.
