Alzheimer's Association, Iowa Day at the Hill, is for advocates to be part of a movement to let their public officials know Alzheimer's disease priorities for the state are important to them! Training and tips on how to speak to elected officials will be available before heading to the Capitol.
Registration is FREE but REQUIRED. ADVOCATES ARE ASKED TO WEAR PURPLE FOR THE CAUSE. Please plan to bring your lunch or a sack lunch can be ordered for $7 at the time of registration. Training will take place in the Wallace Building Auditorium - 502 E 9th Street. Parking is located across the street at 650 Grand Avenue. Advocates will check-in upon arrival. After training and lunch, advocates will then head to the Capitol to make their legislative visits.
