Keynote speaker, William H. Thies, PhD, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer for the Alzheimer’s Association.  Dr. Thies leads the Alzheimer’s Association’s medical and scientific relations department and its multifaceted Research Program.  Under his stewardship the budget has doubled for the International Research Grants Program (IRGP), the world’s largest nonprofit Alzheimer’s research grants program. The Association has provided nearly $280 million in research grants, and, has been involved in nearly every major breakthrough and advancement in Alzheimer’s research.
