Caregiving - It's a Family Affair Arlington-Fairfax Elks Lodge
The 26th Annual Caregiver Conference "Caregiving - It's a Family Affair" recognizes that the caregiving for someone with dementia involves the entire family - spouses, adult children, grandkids, siblings, neighbors and friends. This conference will provide valuable information on ways to help your loved one, ways to help yourself, and ways to help other people in your family cope with the illness and how it affects the entire family. You'll learn about the effects of caregiving, learn strategies to help make a visit with someone with dementia meaningful, get tips on communicating, share stories with other caretgivers, and have great food and even some fun.
