Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias: Best Practices for Best Care is a full-day conference for family and professional caregivers. The conference will feature a research update by Dr. 
Heather Snyder, Director of Medical and Scientific Operations, Alzheimer’s Association National Office in Chicago. Other sessions will examine National Best Practice Recommendations for Dementia Care; Evidenced Based Programs; Community, Regional and State Resources; the Hancock County Dementia Coalition; Understanding the Basics of Dementia; and Advocacy.

Registration includes handouts, continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, CE credits and Certificates of Attendance. Cost is $50. Family caregivers, persons with memory loss, students, STNAs, home health assistants, and Alzheimer’s Association support group facilitators may attend for $25.00.
