For more information or guidance in connecting with your legislators please contact the Vermont Chapter at 802.316.3839. RSVP today for the 2019 Alzheimer's Awareness & Advocacy Day!

Hosted by the Alzheimer's Association, Vermont Chapter and the Governor’s Commission on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD).

It is best to contact your representatives and senator(s) the week of March 15 to schedule to meet for coffee and a quick introduction prior to Advocacy Day. Then schedule a time to meet at the Statehouse for a photo op with your legislators to include with a letter to the editor at your local paper.  Suggest meeting over lunch in the Cafeteria.  You can also have the State House pages deliver a message to your legislators that you are at the State House and would like to meet with them. While there is no guaranteed success using this system, it is effective if your legislators are available.
