Who should be registered on my team? All walkers no matter how old should be registered as a team member on your team. This is an awareness event, so every walker counts in helping us break the stigma around Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Walk Route - Our walk is a 2 mile, non competitive walk on paved road and sidewalk.
Are dogs allowed? No, our contract with Henry Maier Festival Park does not include pets/dogs. (Pet fest is given special permission for that event) Also, due to the size of our event dogs on leashes can be a tripping hazard for the more wobbly walkers joining us. As sad as it makes us, please leave your adorable furry friends at home.
$100 T-Shirt - Earn your $100 t-shirt and receive it by walk day by raising $100 by Sunday, August 18. It will be mailed to you before Walk Day.
Team Sign - Raise $1,500 as a team by August 25 and earn a customized sign with your team's name on it! You will be notified if you earned this and the sign will be picked up on Walk Day. More details to come.
