The Longest Day is the day with the most light --- the summer solstice. And it's the day the Alzheimer's Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer's disease by raising funds and awareness for care, support and research.

I am calling on you, to join me on the day with the most light to fight with me and stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer's.

I do this not only in memory of my loved ones, but for the estimated 6 million Americans of all ages who are living with Alzheimer's.

Martial arts has always been my passion, and how fitting for them to update the motto this year. I am a fighter. Caregivers are fighters. Those diagnosed with Alzheimer's are fighters. All those affected and hold the vision of a world without Alzheimer's are fighters. Together, we will fight to find a cure, to #ENDALZ.
