Mums and Kisses , a homecoming mum and silk floral company holds the Alzheimer's Association dear to our hearts. The Mums and Kisses Family has been directly impacted by this life changing disease.
From the Owner of Mums and Kisses, Shannon Hart Gonzalez,
"Ever since we got the news that daddy was diagnosed at only 59 years old, we'd been finding ways to donate to AlZ.org. hoping beyond hope to find a cure, a treatment. Anything to keep him here with us. Daddy passed away in 2015. After which I personally had a hard time donating and contributing to the cause. Dad was gone, the Alzheimer's won. It felt like all the efforts were in vain. After a 2 years, I thought about it. I don't want anyone else to ever have to go through this. And by stopping my personal contribution I was delaying the cure or treatment for someone else. Now we open the Mums and Kisses Alzheimer's Tribute fund. In Tribute of those that suffer today, and in Memory of those that we've lost because of it. I would like to dedicate this page to anyone that's ever been touched by Alzheimer's in any way. And dedicate it in memory of my Dad. former Staff Sergeant Hart. U.S. Air Force, Vietnam Veteran, husband, father and grandfather. How proud I am to call him Daddy."
Mums and Kisses will be donating proceeds of their seasonal homecoming mums to http://Alz.org at the end of November. We hope all of our students, parents, customers, and schools will help us in this endeavor.
