Jean was an active person well into her senior years. She loved to swim, tend to her flowers and garden, bake pies from fruits grown in her garden, knit sweaters, and dance. Jean was "healthy as a horse." It wasn't until her mid 80's that she slowed down when signs of alzhiemers began to set in. Like her brother, Charles Fricker, Jean is donating brain cells to Alzhiemers research done by Indiana University to help find a cure to this life ending disease.
