Hwi Ja Valentine was born in Seoul, Korea on November 2, 1948 and passed away on June 11, 2016 in Zionsville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father Hun Tae Jung and her brother He Sok Jung. Hwi Ja is survived by her husband, Glenn Valentine; her daughters, Christina Lemberger and Cara Valentine; her mother Kum Sik Jung; and her brother John Jung.

Hwi Ja was a retired accountant for the United States Department of Homeland Security. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science Summa Cum Laude degree.
