George A. Williams, age 95, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019. George was born in Memphis, TN on May 23, 1923.
He was married to Jeanne Williams for 62 years before her death in 2010. He is survived by his daughter Rhonda Travis (Ken), son Mark Williams (Jeanne), and son Jim Williams (Annette). He has 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
George was a proud World War II pilot who obtained a law degree from Memphis State University following the war. He used his legal expertise in the insurance business for many years. He loved both participating and watching all sports. He attended multiple Olympics and he was an avid golfer who belonged to Windyke Country Club for many years.
