Evelyn (Evie) was born July 23, 1928 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She married Grady in 1952 and they had 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
She was a great hostess, well organized and the life of the party!

She was enjoyed and loved by many. Her favorite restaurant was IHOP in Bowling Green,KY and she was somewhat of a local celebrity there.

Although dementia took her to some degree later in her life, she never lost her spark and sense of humor.

She will be missed by all of us who had the good fortune to know and love her.

What a hoot!! That's what always comes to mind when I think of Evie. And those orange toe nails with the big white T's on them!
Every thought of her brings a smile to my face. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her.

Janet and Siblings,
We have both lost parents and have empathy with you all. Although we didn't know you mother as well as we would have liked. both of us felt a kindred to her. Especially during football season. Her beloved Vol's have lost their most ardent fan. You know, Janet, your father's vacation is now over. She is back with him!
