Elizabeth (Betty Jean) Wezwick Gleason, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of John Harry Gleason entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 9, 2017.
Elizabeth was born May 18, 1926 in Orlando, Florida, daughter of the late Sidney Jacobs and Norine Fox Jacobs.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Thomas Wezwick and her daughter, Regina Thecla Cummings.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons and daughter: Thomas Wezwick of Las Vegas, NM; Joseph Wezwick of Sullivan's Island, SC, Bryan Wezwick Sydney, Australia, Robert Wezwick of Manchester, NH; and her daughter, Mary Rogers Wezwick of Hicksville, NY. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; Shaun Rogers, Jacqueline Wezwick Wilson, Keith Wezwick, Johanna Wezwick, Colleen Wezwick, Nicole Warman, Gabriel Wezwick, and Joseph Wezwick, and her great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth will always be remembered for her love of her family, cooking, and fondness of animals.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
