She was a very active member of Kings Grove Baptist Church. She worked in the church as a Sunday School Teacher and Pianist and was very passionate about the church's Mission Work. She loved sharing her faith and the love of Jesus Christ with everyone she met. She always stated that loving Christ was just "So Simple". Her favorite book to read was her Bible. She read It through every year and planted verses in her heart to so she could always quote a verse to someone in need. There was always time at the Christmas gatherings for everyone to hear her recite the Christmas stories from the Bible.

Her home was a welcoming place to anyone, no matter times of joy or hardship, and plenty was shared at the supper table every evening. She taught her grandchildren to love and love Jesus, to work hard, and to help others and show grace. If you ever made a mistake in life, she would have you in her heart and pray about it. Her grandchildren adored her very much as shown through their personal tributes and memories shared through social media.

We will carry you close to our hearts and remember what you and Daddy (Papaw) have taught us over the years through words and actions until we meet again.
