In Loving Memory of Beate Cress

Beate Cress (Stoffel), 68, of Loveland, CO passed away on 8/16/2022 after a battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Beate was born on May 11, 1954 in Trier, Germany, daughter of Dr. Alois Stoffel and Elfriede Stoffel. Her childhood was spent in Kastellaun, Germany before marrying Dennis Lane Cress on April 7, 1977, in Simmern, Germany.

Beate lived in many locations across the United States and Germany as the spouse of an Army Officer. During her life she raised two daughters, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri Western State University, in a second language, and served her community as a Registered Nurse. She was a compassionate and caring person and a reliable friend. Upon retirement in 2016, Beate and Dennis moved to Loveland, CO. Prior to that Beate most recently resided in Topeka, KS and St. Joseph, MO.

Beate is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dennis Cress, Loveland, CO; her daughters Nicole (Jose) Martins, Berthoud, CO and Stephanie Cress (Josh Seamatter), Johnstown, CO; her mother Elfriede Stoffel, Kastellaun, Germany; brother Hubert Stoffel (Susan), Tawas City, MI; her grandchildren Alois and Wilhelm Seematter. Beate is preceded in death by her father Dr. Alois Stoffel.
